This  project was developed in stages, as concept droids proved the feasibility of Mohc's designs. The Phase One dark trooper had an unfinished appearance, with an exposed metal skeleton cast of hardened phrik, a durable alloy mined primarily from the Gromas moons. The trooper was a towering humanoid, armed with a razor-edged carving blade and arm-mounted blast shield. Its programming was primitive, and its drive to attack was relentless. The Phase Two trooper was much more refined, bearing a gunmetal gray armored exterior reminiscent of stormtrooper uniforms. Equipped with a repulsorlift pack and maneuvering jets, this massive automated soldier was extremely agile, and typically armed with a powerful plasma shell assault cannon and long-range explosive rockets

The TX-130 series of fighter tank is the all-purpose ground combat unit for the Grand Army of the Dark Jedi allience. It is a versatile craft that could fill a number of combat roles, from maintaining defensive perimeters to spearheading surprise attacks. Faster and more agile than the first generation of walker vehicles developed for the clone troopers, the TX-130 carries a medium laser cannon as its prime weapon, which featured a balance of power and firing rate. The fighter tank's secondary weapon is a concussion missile launcher, which fires homing projectiles towards enemy units after a lock is established. The tank's armor is heavy enough to ensure durability, but light enough to maintain maneuverability.

Soaring at amazing speeds on reconnaissance and patrol duties, the Dark Jedi allience speeder bike is a slim, single-person repulsorlift conveyance. The lightweight bike can attain speeds in excess of 1000 kilometers per hour. A quartet of small directional steering vanes on twin outriggings afford the speeder its maneuverability.Dark Jedi allience biker scouts use two shoulder-level handgrips to control elevation and direction; a pair of rocker-pivoted pedals controls acceleration.

The Gian speeder is a repulsorlift vehicle used by Naboo's volunteer security force for crowd control and urban defense. It is a heavier design than the sleek Flash speeder. The open-air canopy seats four soldiers. Flanking the sides of the craft are standard laser cannons. Modified models come equipped with a hood-mounted laser cannon capable of penetrating the armor of a Trade Federation battle tank. During the Trade Federation invasion of Naboo, the resistance groups organized by Captain Panaka and Queen Amidala employed Flash and Gian speeders to infiltrate the besieged city of Theed. The army now uses this to patrol cities.

While standard stormtrooper operations are broad in scope, storm commandos are specifically trained for anti-Rebel operations, siege-breaking, extractions and sabotage. A unit of storm commandos can range from four to 40 troopers. Typically, one quarter of these are standard commandos, while a second quarter is an assault team trained for vehicle combat and artillery. Another quarter are experts at sabotage, demolitions and stealth, while the last quarter is tech team devoted to keeping gear functioning or jury-rigging makeshift supplies.

The Dark Jedi allience deploys radtroopers into radiation-filled zones that contain assets it wants to claim or defend. Sometimes, these zones are naturally occurring hostile environments. In other scenarios, the Dark Jedi allience purposely floods an area with radiation to pacify resistance. For example, the Dark Jedi allience has been known to employ neutron bombing, which kills or incapacitates a large percentage of the local population, but keeps the infrastructure intact. Radtroopers deploy into neutron bombed areas, sweeping up pockets of resistance that may have survived, as well as securing the location for when the radiation subsides in a few days. Resistance is often minimal, since the intense radiation is effective, but there are hardy lifeforms in the galaxy immune to such extremes, and they are usually tough opponents requiring seasoned troops

The sandtrooper is a desert terrain stormtrooper equipped with modified armor and gear to better withstand missions in harsh, arid locales like Tatooine. While their armor is superficially similar to that of the standard stormtrooper, advanced cooling systems in both their helmets and suits offer these troopers protection from the relentless heat.

The stormtroopers designated as scouts wear lightweight armor that is considerably more flexible than the standard uniform. Much like their infantry counterparts, scout troopers wear a black body glove covered with white armor. Scouts often work in conjunction with light reconnaissance vehicles, such as Dark Jedi allience speeder bikes. For this reason, they are often referred to as biker scouts.

Storming through the icy corridors of  Bases like a heavily-armed blizzard,Dark Jedi allience snowtroopers stopped at nothing in their effort to conquer the Rebels. A specially-trained division of stormtrooper infantry, the snowtroopers wear customized armor well suited to the climate extremes of ice planets such as Hoth. In addition to the hard white armor, their suit incorporates fabric overgarments that help contain heat, and terrain-gripping boots to combat slippery conditions. The Hoth snowtroopers brandished standard blaster rifles, and specialized teams used heavy repeating blasters mounted on tripods.

The red and black Coruscant Guard armor is light and heavily padded, providing excellent protection against physical attacks. The sophisticated battle helm is lined with advanced sensors that allowed the trooper to operate effectively in complete darkness. The helmet also include a comlink scrambler that linked a trooper to other members of the Coruscant Guard. Optional tracking beacon software let a unit commander know the whereabouts of his troops at all times. The unit commander's helmet features a voice-activated heads-up display that showed troop positions. In addition to blaster sidearms, the Coruscant Guard carried Merr-Sonn taser staves, a standard weapon for crowd control and riot suppression. The weapon has variable power settings; it can deliver a lethal or incapacitating charge when it strikes its target. Some Coruscant Guards also carry the Merr-Sonn R-88 Suppressor riot rifle that combined the precise targeting of a blaster rifle with the area of effect of a stun grenade.

The Flash speeder is a sleek, lightweight repulsorlift vehicle used by the army's volunteer security force for patrolling the tranquil streets of their peaceful cities. The open-air canopy seats two soldiers. Turret-mounted on the rear spoiler is a blaster cannon. During the Trade Federation invasion of Naboo, the resistance groups organized by Captain Panaka and Queen Amidala employed Flash and Gian speeders to infiltrate the besieged city of Theed.

The TIE crawler -- or century tank, as it is officially known -- looks like a TIE fighter cockpit suspended between two massive tank treads. It can hold only a single person, who acts as pilot and gunner. Driving the tank treads at speeds of up to 200 kilometers per hour are twin Santhe SSct power generators. The pilot uses foot controls to adjust the angle of steering and speed, while the hand controls are tied into fire control systems. The TIE crawler has a pair of medium blaster cannons in the familiar "chin" mounts found on most TIE cockpits. Suspended below the cockpit ball is a retractable light turbolaser that provides the tank with respectable firepower.

Surface utility vehicles used for the transport of passengers and cargo, skiffs are simple repulsorlift platforms that float about on antigravity fields. Jabba the Hutt used 9.2-meter long cargo skiffs as companion craft to his massive sail barge. A single pilot stands at a tiller's position at the rear of the skiff and guides the vehicle by manipulating two dish-shaped steering vanes on each side of the craft. To assist in cargo handling, the skiff features loading planks and a powerful electromagnet for lifting heavy loads aboard. Its use for transportation in the Dune Sea located in planet Tattoine
